Posted: Monday, February 2, 2009
Touted by some as one of the top ten equestrian events in the USA, the Florida Horse Festival and Carriage Show offers an opportunity for individuals to be a part of this unique three-day extravaganza.
The events popularity required the 2009 show to be held over three days with fabulous performers and talented competitors presenting their horses Thursday through Sunday, February 20-22. The prestigious Carriage Driving Show brings exhibitors from as far away as Canada and the horses in the must see breed barn include the usual and the unusual of the equine world. Horses performing to music with costumed riders contribute to the festivities of this event that in the past drew over 7,000 spectators. A $10 general admission fee gets you spectator seating to view the performances and also admission to the world-class 40,000 square feet Carriage Museum espousing the contributions of the horse to developing civilizations.
