There ain't no hoof-picks in Heaven
Cuzz there ain't no stones up thar.
There ain't no clay pathways
For to muss up hoof or hair.
There ain't no colic
From grain or sand or hay.
There ain't no inclement weather
So you can frolic every day.
You can chase a comet across the sky
And drink from the Milky Way.
Graze upon a field of stars
And bask in Heavens rays.
You can gallop round Saturn's rings
And never throw a shoe.
You'll never need a worming
Cuzz your troubled days are through.
You've been my faithful companion
You carried me every day.
And if the Lord will let me
It's by your side I'll stay.
We'll travel round the cloud tops
And sprinkle the mornings dew.
We'll chase the big black thunderheads
And kick up rainbows too.
And at the end of every day
We'll gaze down from above.
And pay a visit in the dreams
Of all the ones we loved.
So it's Happy Trails to one and all
Our troubles are at an end.
My horse and I will wait for you
Around the Heavens bend.
